Jaylin Day

Jaylin D. Day was born on March 2, 1995 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Joseph L. Day, II and Cara McNeal. He departed this life suddenly on October 17, 2019 at the age of 24.

Jaylin graduated from Life Skills and was a dedicated worker to any job that he was assigned to do. He was spontaneous with his jokes and he possessed a special gift that he was able to use which was love. Jaylin loved his nieces, nephews and he loved to help others. Jaylin was also very gifted at math.

Jaylin was preceded in death by his great grandfather Arthur Sheffield, Sr., grandfathers Frederick W. Hall, Jr. and Joseph L. Day, I, grandmother Lea Ethel Day and cousin Shana D. Jones-Sherfield.

Jaylin leaves not to mourn but to cherish his memory: his children Ryan Ann McPherson, Jaylee Day and Kayden Day; his parents Joseph L. Day, II and Cara McNeal (Altha, Jr.); grandmother Brenda Hall; great grandmother Malvinia Sheffield; siblings Joseph L. Day, III (Christinia), Matthew D. Johnson, Jr., Jaleesa I. Day, Cara M. Johnson and Jazlyn L. Day; step-siblings Altha E. McNeal, III and Alina McNeal; uncles Kenneth Hall and William Hall; aunts Jacqueline Hall and Crystal Kenyetta; step-mothers Edna Sparks and Annette Day; nieces and nephews Jordan, Jadynn, Cadence, Camryn, Marquez, Kemorah, Joseph L. Day, IV; great aunt Crystal Madaris and great uncles Delbert Sheffield, Arthur Sheffield, Jr. and Manning Sheffield and a host of other relatives and friends.
