Dorothy Mae Brown

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Brown, age 68, passed away Sunday, February 24th 2019 at Grandview Hospital. She was born in Winnsboro, South Carolina and later became a permanent resident of Dayton, Ohio.

She medically retired from Springhill Nursing Home in 2018.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, father, Willie D. Brown and Mother, Willie Mae Brown. Two brothers, Willie B. Brown and Anthony Brown. Two sisters, Susie Lee Anderson and Sherrie Stills. Aunt Versa Proctor and Nephew Jeremiah Brown.  

She leaves to cherish in her memory, her youngest brother James (Jim) Brown. Aunt Willie Bell Ashford. Uncles James and John Ashford. Long-time companion Hermie Rowan and his daughters Theresa, Karen, Tasha, Hermietta and MarQuetta Rowan. Nieces, Tonya (Michael) Wallace, Tenile (Roger) Gomez, Kenya (Steven) Parks, Michelle (Travis) Williams and Jeanine Huffman. Nephews, Derrick (Tiphany) Anderson, Samford D. Anderson, Ronald T. Anderson Jr., Stephen Brown, Ronnie Brown, Stanford (Tara) Brown, Anthony Bell, Terrance Bell and Christopher Jamison.

Special family and friends, Gloria Lane, Michelle Horton, Carolyn Jones and Vertis Knox. She also leaves to cherish a host of cousins, great nieces, great nephews, coworkers and friends.
