Mrs. Arnetta Faye (Arnett) Kurtz, 68, was born on August 20, 1951 in Middletown, Ohio to Charles L. Arnett Sr and Alice L. (King) Arnett. She fought a courageous battle before surrendering her soul to the Lord. She passed peacefully with family by her bedside on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in West-Chester, OH.
Arnetta was a graduate of Middletown High School (1970), and went on to further her studies at Bliss College in Columbus, Ohio, graduating with a degree in merchandising. She continued her residency in Columbus Ohio after marrying Gregory D. Kurtz Sr in 1972. And to this union, were born two sons, Gregory Daryl Kurtz Jr and Rashaan Roland Kurtz Sr.
Net, as she is affectionately known by her family and friends, had an infectious spirit and touched the hearts of all she came in contact with. With her winning personality she was often promoted to Supervisor or Manager on jobs she's held. Even in the midst of her storm, you could find her with a laugh and a smile. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt and will be sadly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory D. Kurtz Sr; Her father, Charles L. Arnett Sr; Her Mother, Alice L. (King) Arnett; Her Sister, Karen S. (Arnett) Spaulding; and her Niece, Staci L. (Arnett) Shuler-Cain; She leaves to cherish her most precious memories, her two devoted sons, Gregory Daryl Kurtz Jr and Rashaan Roland Kurtz Sr (Shontel) who were the joy and light of her life. She is also Survived by two sisters, Betty L. Arnett Greene, Youngstown, OH; Dana M. Arnett-Harris (James), Suffolk, VA; Four brothers, Donald L. Arnett (Sharon) and Charles L. Arnett Jr, both of Columbus, OH; Reginald L. Arnett (Pam), Indianapolis, IN; Richard L. Arnett (Lisa), Cincinnati, OH. Grandchildren, Kayla D. Pucket, Mariah D. Ballard, Nikarra D. Kurtz, Rashaan R. Kurtz Jr, Nikila D. Kurtz, Karecia Roberts, Korie Roberts, George L. Beard III, and Cortez Calhoun. Ten Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
